Occasionally you may need to limit the maximum number of submissions in your web apps. Events, inventory management, promotions, and other apps with fixed resources often need to regulate availability. Using Caspio’s online database, you can easily limit submissions in your apps so you don’t ever have to monitor the number of entries.
There are several ways to limit submissions using Caspio. This week’s Tech Tip shows you how to create a system that will monitor the number of previous submissions and disable the submission link when the maximum number is reached. Displaying the remaining available submissions is also a great way to add urgency and encourage new entries.
Using this system, you can be sure your events are not overbooked, demand does not overwhelm supply, and users are encouraged to act quickly.
